Who are we and

Manek Dubash Associates consists of a tightly focused, select group of professional writers with decades of expertise between them. Managing director Manek Dubash and his associates collectively offer high quality journalism, research, analysis and consultancy skills.

Deeply involved with the IT business for well over 20 years, is interested in hardware and software technology and issues, as well networking and communications.

In October 2006, Manek was selected to be one of the judges for the prestigious FT World Communications Awards 2006.

NetEvents TV
Manek is Editorial Director of NetEvents TV -- NetEvents is the established way for bringing IT networking companies and journalists together -- which has launched a TV arm. NetEvents TV addresses the top issues in the networking and telecoms world. NetEvents TV is a multi-lingual operation, bringing you streamed video and text in a huge variety of languages.

Network Weekly
Manek Dubash Associates publishes Network Weekly, which has been supplying analysis and headline news links to the IT networking, wireless telecoms and storage communities, as well as to end users, since October 2001. You can find out more here.

Webster Buchanan Research
In 2002, Manek became a director of and launched the infrastructure channel for global research company Webster Buchanan Research (WbR). WbR provides corporates with business case justifications for IT investments via vendor-sponsored white papers and other material. If you want to know more about WbR's services, please contact us.

Previous experience
Manek has worked on a number of IT publications, including the nine years up to 2000 being spent at PC Magazine UK where he became Editor-in-Chief. After that, he created and occupied the position of technology strategist at market research and analysis company Datamonitor, and went on to join the features team at Techworld, where he managed the OS & Servers section of the site for four years.

Analyst work: I've started working with STL Partners recently on cloud strategies for telecomms operators. It's a fascinating field so if you are in that business, please get in touch.

Photography: I've been photographing a conference recently and the results were well-received.

The important issues are to ensure that all speakers are photographed individually and in context, to provide general shots to capture the atmosphere, and to make the results available quickly, and in any format required.

Do you need a voice for your advertisement or messaging? Manek is an experienced voice artist and his warm, engaging voice offers a great way of animating your vocal messages. Check out this sample here.

He majored in radio at journalism college, has performed on stage (in an amateur capacity), and possesses extensive public speaking experience. He also developed his own regular podcast, and is the public face of NetEvents TV, where he presents to camera and voices the website's documentaries.

Manek offers a British baritone speaking voice from the south of England with a trace of London.
